OK, I am on a roll, so I am going to do 2 posts. Kaylen celebrated her birthday while we were in Oklahoma. The kids associate birthday's at Nauni and Papa Jones's house with pinatas. We threw together a "tea cup" cake and had some friends over. It was a lot of fun, the only problem was that when we got home and it was Kaylen's actual birthday 2 days later, she threw a fit because we didn't have another party. I guess you can't win with 6 year olds.
I am still trying to catch up on our fun Oklahoma trip. Mom treated all of the girls to lunch at a "tea room" and we had a wonderful time putting on hats and acting proper. It was so fun to watch Kaylen, Reagan and my friend Jessica's daughter, Ashley, pretend to be grown up. They got their own tea pots filled with lemonade. It was such a cute place and we had such a fun time that I thought it would be fun to open up a "tea room" here in Utah, but I don't know how well a tea room that doesn't offer real tea would go over.

I have finally decided to break down and join the blogging world. I am mostly doing it for the sake of our family history, so I'm sure it won't be the most interesting thing out there, but hopefully I can use this instead of scarpbooking, because that is a thing of the past at this point in my life. I decided I would start with our very fun trip to Oklahoma. We had a great time - Nauni and Papa Jones took advantage of the opportunity to spoil the grandkids. Lauren, Trevor, Bryce, and Dallin were able to come as well. We went down to Turner Falls and had a great time playing at the waterfalls and "hiking" down the river.
